Dr. Selva Mary G

With a rich academic background spanning over 18 years, I am presently employed at SRM University. My expertise lies in Information Communication Engineering and Web Technologies. I hold a Master of Engineering Degree from the University of Mumbai, and a Ph.D. from Anna University.  I also, hold an MBA from Sikkim Manipal University. Over the years, I've created more than 25 software solutions targeting eLearning and higher education, while being affiliated with esteemed institutions like Mumbai University, Anna University, SRM University, and Savitribai Phule Pune University in India.

I am an educator with a deep-seated commitment to transforming the educational paradigm through the integration of technology and innovative pedagogy. With a rich experience spanning 18 years, I have served in multifaceted roles, including teacher, trainer, coordinator, and head of department.

Currently I work at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), a prestigious deemed-to-be-university in India. SRMIST offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs across various faculties including Engineering and Technology (E&T), Management, Medicine & Health Sciences, Science & Humanities, and Law, fostering a dynamic and enriching academic environment.

I serve within SRMIST's Directorate of Learning and Development (DLD) as the Head of eLearning Technology, with a specific focus on implementing eLearning strategies within the SRMIST. My core responsibilities include:

·  leading the development and implementation of digital pedagogical strategies,

· enhancing the digital teaching competencies of staff members through specific and extensive training programs,

· collaborating with various departments for the integration and quality assurance of eLearning tools.

My research pursuits encompass Visual Cryptography, Image Security, Information Communications, Image Communications, Web Development, and Teaching and Learning methodologies. I am enthusiastic about keeping pace with industry advancements, with a goal to incorporate the latest tools and practices to ensure technological deployments are in line with institutional objectives.
